- what does made-to-order mean?
Made-to-order refers to products that are created specifically after a customer places an order. Keep in mind that items labeled as made-to-order may take several weeks, typicallt around five, to be completed as they go through the entire process from raw materials to the final product.
- How do I care for my piece(s)?
For optimal longevity, I always suggest hand washing your cup(s) or plate(s) instead of using the dishwasher. Nevertheless, all stoneware pieces are fired at a very high temperature of approximately 1200 degrees Celsius, making them very durable and safe for dishwasher use.
Additionally, every piece comes with a specific care-guide on how to care for the specific item.
- Can I reserve a piece(s)?
Feel free to drop me a message to reserve an item for up to a week. You can also schedule a visit to my studio in Zaandam to see the piece in person and collect it from there.
- Do you do commisioned work?
Sure! I have completed various commissioned projects for different brands. However, I focus exclusively on single batch commissions and do not engage in ongoing productions. If you need me to design something for your company, brand, or pop-up event, feel free to message me. We can discuss whether I can assist you with your requirements.
- Do you give workshops?
While I don't officially host workshops, I occasionally organize them upon request. If you or a group of friends are keen on participating in one with me and/or to learn something specific, feel free to reach out. I typically have the availability to set something up, and the pricing will depend on what you'd like to learn or create.
